David Kay kicks off 2025 with Ice Bowl at Talladega Short Track

Competing in two divisions during his first weekend of racing, David Kay unloaded both his 604 and 602 Late Models at Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Ala.) on Friday evening for the 34th-annual Ice Bowl.

With a stout field on hand for both classes, Kay finished sixth in his 604 heat race while he ran runner-up in the 602 heat race. With main events slated for Saturday afternnoon, David fell back in the 602 feature with a 15th-place outing but charged forward in the $4,000-to-win 604 main event and secured a Top-10 finish in 10th.
