Kay doubles down during NASCAR weekend at Talladega Short Track
David Kay participated in NASCAR weekend at Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Ala.), competing in the 602 Late Models Sportsman division for the Jerry Goodwin Challenge on Friday and the Red Farmer Tribute on Saturday.
In Friday's program, Kay started on the pole for the 30-lap make up event and led every lap to score the $2,000 payday over Brodie Thompson and Chase Giddens.
David continued his winning ways on Saturday evening where he once again led flag-to-flag in the 20-lapper and picked up a $1,500 prize for his efforts. Kay also competed in the CRUSA Late Model division that evening and lost four spots in the 25-lap feature to finish ninth.
