Double duty weekend for Kay Racing
Late race recap:
Tanner: Friday night after finding some issues with the go kart we started 3rd in the heat race where he would go on to win it. Starting on the pole of the feature leading flag to flag! Huge improvement on his driving from the week before!
Sunday recap:
Hot lap qualifying for David in the bama bash, had some issues steering during qualifying. Qualified 4th out of 24 entries. Starting 4th we was riding sainting our own pace in the caution filled races. We finally drove to 2nd with a really good car when the race was called for time limit. 11 laps out of 20. We feel we had a car to win the race running the full distance but cards didn’t fall our way, especially after finding out left front shock bolt decided to leave the chat. Congrats to the Massey team on the big win! Our plans next are uncertain, we were going to points race on a series but after cost of fuel, tires, etc, we’ve decided again to pick and choice what we do and have the most fun!
